Darin Matthews, former Director of Procurement for UC Santa Cruz, Portland State University, METRO, and Portland’s regional government, joins the Negometrix US Management Board per January 1, 2020. Adding his 25+ experience state and local procurement, as faculty, President of NIGP, global speaker, and author of several books and industry articles on procurement and supply chain is a tremendous boost for the knowledge base of Negometrix’ growing global technology eProcurement leadership.

Negometrix eProcurement and Contract Management solutions are currently used by 650 procurement agencies in Europe and North America, where it started operations in Brooklyn NY in 2018. Negometrix believes that eProcurement and contract management can and will do more than bring process efficiency. Negometrix offers leading technology for better decision-making in contracting vendors. Not only on lowest price, but on Best Value, sustainability, quality, diversity or whatever agency goals may be. This is also what attracted Darin to Negometrix as it aligns with his experience and drive to the supply chain profession.

Matthews is excited to join the Negometrix team and help advance the field of digital procurement in the US. “Having used several e-procurement systems in my career, I believe that the functionality of the Negometrix platform and their commitment to customer service are second to none.”

Darin is a Certified Public Procurement Officer (CPPO), a Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) and a Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.). He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business/Political Science and a Master’s degree in Acquisition Management. Darin is an instructor for the Institute for Public Procurement and served as their President in 2007. He has also served as a faculty member for several leading universities including Cal Berkeley, Florida Atlantic University, and University of Illinois.

Darin’s principle office location will be on the US West Coast. Negometrix believes in nationwide presence close to major customer geographies opening an office in the greater Los Angeles area in 2018 and per January 1, 2020 also in Miami, Florida.
