A Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS, or in Dutch ‘DAS’) is a flexible procurement procedure foreseen by the European Procurement regulations.

The efficiencies built-in the procedure make the DPS an essential tool in the portfolio of purchasing authorities.

In the Netherlands, most public buyers think of hiring temporary personnel through a DPS, while in many other European countries it is mostly used for products.

During this webinar Thomas de Jong, Teamcaptain Consultancy at Mercell Netherlands will explain some basic information about this procedure, the overall benefits and tips. Following, Victor Boulanger, IT Contract Officer for the European Commission and Adeline De Vrij, member of the Commission’s Cloud Broker team, will present their use of a DPS for sourcing the best cloud service providers and solutions.
