Managing Director
I strongly believe in the 3 principles of public purchasing: transparency, objectivity and non-discrimination. While mandatory for public purchasing, it leads to better results the private segment as well! I would suggest to add a fourth principle for both: Progress. Plan your work and work your plan. Purchasers should protect themselves against becoming the victim of shifting priorities with their organizations. I enjoy seeing that our software and consulting services produce tangible results because they really help purchasers sticking to these 4 principles! We started with a single successful purchasing project in 2000, now we have hundreds of cases to validate our cause. Look at the numbers.

What is purchasing excellence? Lowest Price, best product, satisfied end-users? In my vision, purchasing excellence is achieved when all such relevant elements are methodically considered and prioritized in procurement decisions. Time and again, this proofs to be a challenge without out of the box answers. A mix of professional external consultancy and methodical hand-on software as back-bone is a powerful solution solving a wide range of procurement puzzles. The adoption of electronic procurement is an inevitable worldwide trend. So far the focus was mainly on announcing tender information on the web. Our platform goes quite further. From publication, to structuring requirements and weights to evaluation and contract management. All this combined with great user experience using the latest web technologies.I strongly believe that using our innovative platform organizations can save time and cost, bring transparency and eradicate corruption in the process of procuring goods, works and services.

During my studies I was instantly triggered when I came in contact with procurement. It is a business environment which is rapidly changing and professionalizing from an ordering activity to a much more strategic function which contributes to the competitive power of an organization. That makes procurement exciting! In recent years organizations primarily focused on increasing their sales and market share. Today they are also focusing more on costs. By making procurement more professional organizations get more grip on their costs. They will therefore increase margins, even in times of economic downturn, and be able to increase their profit. With the powerful E-sourcing tool and my fresh look on procurement I will give my full commitment to professionalizing your procurement processes and never forget that the results really count!

Account Manager Buying Communities
In 2006 I enrolled at the Hanze University Groningen, University of Applied Sciences, course Facility Management. I choose Purchasing as a major which lead me to get to know Negometrix during an intriguing guest lecture. Their professional view on purchasing, their web based product and their practical methodology attracted me to write my thesis at Negometrix. I have graduated in June 2010. In my survey I discovered that many governmental entities work together by sharing knowledge and information or purchase together. The software of Negometrix can support these co operations optimally, by creating a restricted environment for the cooperation partners. This environment is especially suitable for organizations who operate in the same sector, because they often have the same working method, procedures and rules. Collaborative purchasing works, together you can achieve more!

Whether a company can perform successfully may depend on the degree of good procurement by that company. Good procurement can be a considerable advantage, but it is not always that easy to realize. Well structured Requests for Information (RFI’s), a sound price / quality deliberation and a traceable communication and decision making process are usually critical success factors in a procurement process. I am convinced that the Negometrix platform can make an essential contribution to this process for various companies. The strength of our platform not only lies in realizing cost reductions, but also in the clear presentation of the demands and wishes of the procurer. I will gladly be of assistance to help, advise and support you to realize these results with our software.

During my study Facility Management at the Saxion Hogeschool in Deventer I first came in contact with procurement. Professional procurement proved being a complete sport, consisting of several stages and techniques where efficiency can be achieved. E-procurement appealed to me the most.
We live in a digitalized world where everyone is in a hurry and every minute costs money. With a minimum effort, we want to achieve the maximum result and sustainability is increasingly important. The digitizing of your procurement is a great step in the right direction. Therefore the Negometrix software is an ideal too; the software is user friendly and supports your procurement process the way that you want it to. You do not have to be an expert to get started in our software. We are ready and motivated to give you support and advice where needed!

During my study Facility Management at de Hanzehogeschool in the city of Groningen I chose  conscious for the specialization ‘business class’ instead of ‘procurement’. Why? Because I was more interested in entrepreneurship. Why did I end up in procurement? I am convinced that the ‘earnings’ within procurement are gained by good entrepreneurship. When procurement is done in the right way, you need to listen to your internal customer and seek to meet the needs within the framework of the company. When meeting those needs, whether in time, by working more efficiently or by realizing savings compared to the current situation, you have undertaken the proper actions. And this is where the software of Negometrix comes into sight. The first action that needs to be taken is to investigate what the company needs to buy, when and where these ‘products’ have to be delivered. Then choose one of the tender options . When you start this process in time and you follow the procedure correctly, the right product will be purchased, against the right price. The result will be: Profit by good entrepreneurship!

After my study Facility Management at the Hanze Hogeschool in Groningen I started working for an outplacement agency. My first assignment was at an organization that used the E-sourcing tool of Negometrix for all of their tender projects.
I instantly saw the advantages of setting up tenders with such a system. In a field of work were transparency, equality and objectivity are key words e-sourcing software can be a very helpful tool. Negometrix helps you to better structure your tender projects, without drifting away from your own preferred way of working. Because Negometrix ‘forces’ you to think about your requirements (demands and wishes) and the way you want to assess suppliers in advance, the system helps you finding the most suitable supplier.
I realize that for some organizations the transfer to digitizing their procurement procedures can be a huge change. My colleagues and I are available to help you in making this change go smoothly, by answering questions you may have and by proactively thinking with you and your organization.
